sewingsista seams together: As this picture by Jeff Richter shows women have inner strength and determination - if applied to push through and overcome obstacles. Each day women show unique, creative strength by reinvinting themselves stitch by stitch. The sewing machine and fabric have been supportive loyal companions since I was a teen and continue to be so as I try sew hard to seam my life togehter. Being a "woman of color" takes on a whole new meaning for me. I love making fabric come though life through shape, texture,vibrant tints from the rainbow and movment as you will see in the articles I create.
